Corridor One Stop Shop & our products
The Corridor One Stop Shop (COSS) is a single body coordinating the path offer of the national Infrastructure Managers and Allocation Bodies, to allow you a simple and fast booking of international paths for freight trains. The COSS provides:
- a flexible offer tailored to your specific requirements
- a customer care to help you planning your transport
- an information centre on technical features of corridor lines and terminals and on relevant railway services offer
- a customized access to an international IT booking tool (PCS)
The two main products offered by Mediterranean Rail Freight Corridor are:
TT 20XX offer – addresses medium- to long-term capacity needs. Pre-arranged train paths harmonized across Countries belonging to the Corridor (journey times, frequencies, timings) are published (at X-11) on 2nd Monday of January of each year for the allocation of the capacity of the following year.
Reserve Capacity (RC) – addresses ad hoc capacity needs at rather short notice. Ad hoc requests for individual train path can be requested until 21 days before the train runs. The Reserve Capacity offered by MED RFC is provided in form of PaPs.
