Please let us supplement our previous notice with the following information:
- This restriction applies exclusively to freight trains with electric traction.
- During the period of the restriction, freight trains with electric traction shall not be allowed to enter the network of MÁV Pályaműködtetési Zrt. via border crossings. We kindly ask you to take that into account when planning the departures and arrivals of trains at the borders.

Exceptions to this restriction are shipments supporting the country’s critical infrastructure and energy supply, in particular: military supplies, fuel, coal, kerosene and their components, etc.. Should the classification of a particular consignment be unclear for the railway undertaking, information may be requested via e-mail from uk.hfoir@mavcsoport.hu.
- During the period of the restriction, trains allocated for electric traction may not be hauled by diesel locomotives.
- On electrified lines, train paths allocated for diesel traction and scheduled for the period of the restriction are also subject to the restriction, these trains shall not be allowed to run on the network of MÁV Pályaműködtetési Zrt.
We would also like to draw your attention to the circumstance that on 5, 6 and 8 August 2026, prior to the FK3 double TCR, freight trains running before 23:27 will be stopped at the first appropriate station after passing through the Ferencváros–Kelenföld section, and will only be able to resume their journey after 22:00.
