On the 16th of June, an accident has occurred between a truck and a train carrying chemical. The place of the accident is located in the North of France between Lille and Metz. The time needed to evacuate the carriages and the locomotive will be about 10 days, after which the railway platform will have to be repaired.The impact for the traffic will be felt until the mid of July.
SNCF R is working with the RUs to find and propose the best solutions to reroute trains as a priority and minimize the consequences.
